Today’s Women in Science & Technology

The 2nd annual Today’s Women in Science & Technology (TWIST) conference will again take place on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.

Connecting women executives in technology-based positions with one another and providing mentorship to students in STEM programs is what TWIST is all about.

This unique day will include inspiring keynote speakers, group learning opportunities, mentoring and building personal relationships, with the participation of top women executives from technology companies, Cambia leadership, LPGA tour professionals, and STEM students from several major universities.

Women are passionate and avid users of emerging technologies, but remain under-represented in roles that lead development and management of this technology. We want to be a part in changing that.

Partnering with TWIST and the Cambia Portland Classic creates a platform and resource to further women’s careers in technology, as well as excite, inspire, educate and equip young women with the professional network and skills that will enable them to pursue careers in the STEM and technology fields.

Our mission is to use the infrastructure of Portland’s LPGA professional tournament – the Cambia Portland Classic — as a platform to connect our executive leadership group, consisting of approximately 40 C-Suite high-tech leaders and TWIST sponsors, to a pipeline of future leaders, while empowering the 100 young women students who participate.

In addition, we are offering participating executives a professional networking opportunity to collaborate with each other on current business issues, at a special leadership summit.
