Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers pay a $50.00 registration fee and will receive:
Volunteer credential (allows admissions each day regardless if you are working a shift)
One (1) volunteer polo & one (1) hat
Meal & water vouchers on your shift days
Complimentary Parking
Limited tickets for family and friends
Junior Volunteers
Junior Volunteers do not pay a fee and will receive:
Volunteer credential (allows admissions each day regardless if you are working a shift)
One (1) volunteer polo & one (1) hat

Limited tickets for family and friends
Volunteer opportunities include: ProAm caddies, Marshals, Walking Scorers. Transportation, Green Team and others.

Volunteer FAQ
Can kids volunteer as well?
Yes! There are Standard Bearer positions available for kids between 13-17 years of age as part of Oregon Junior Golf. Additionally, those 16 and older can apply to be Standard Bearers or Pro-Am Caddies.
Can I ask for a refund if I can no longer volunteer?
Yes. Be sure to contact us at info.portlandclassic@gmail.com and we will sort out any refunds necessary.
How many days/hours will I need to volunteer for?
Your time volunteering could range anywhere from one day for 5 hours to multiple days with 8-hour shifts. Please read our Committee Descriptions above for more details.
When will I receive my schedule?
Closer to tournament time, we will send out schedules to each volunteer.
Will I need training?
Yes, all volunteers will be trained for their specific positions to make sure that everyone feels prepared and comfortable in their roles.
Will I need prior knowledge about golf to volunteer?
Though golf knowledge is recommended for many positions, it is not required for all. We encourage anyone to come out and assist us in September, regardless of their understanding of the game of golf.
